Do people think that the flooding will happen again like what we had this year?

I have never seen anything like it in Sheffield - doubt many other people have either.

I didnt get to see the news on how bad the flooding actually was because we were without power for over 30 hours - that was bad enough for me so I cannot imagine how people coped that actually got flooded.

Has the council done enough to ensure that this doesnt happen again? Has the council helped people? If so, what have they done for you?

Council probably wont help many as when things like the flood happen after its all dried up we are forgot about if that would have happened in London things would have been very different and more help given !!

Its looked like it might happen again today - the flooding - with all the rain we have had and more to come.

The weather isnt looking very good, and there are reports from people that the rivers are quite high.

Do you live near a river? Is it high?

You can guarantee the floods will come again at sometime it may not be for months or years but due to the climate change they will return.

Of course it will flood again. Seeing as how no attempt has been made to clear any of the debris from the last flood (in the Don, anyway), how on earth can we expect further rainfall to swish swiftly away to the sea rather than back up and up until it swishes swiftly into our living rooms? " Rapid response" just isn't the word...
